I love to dress up. Not cocktail dresses. But I can. I dress my best to go to work. I hate jeans, so I would say I dress my best to go out anywhere. At home, pure confort in teeshirts and shorts or big baggy sweatshirts if it's chilly. I believe the workplace deserves a professional look. Skirts, suits, dresses. Casual day is not for jeans. At least in the workplace.
