I'm young at heart and I love Gourmet dining, music (classical, jazz, blues, show music, New Age), the ocean, reading, writing, dancing, water activities, computers, the theater and travel. I'm a widow who is independent, owns her 4-acre rural/suburban home and a small mountain cabin, has a keen sense of humor(sometimes wacky)and enjoys deep conversations with close friends. I'm rather philosophical, quite liberal, and an extrovert who also appreciates her solitude. My favorite hobby - aside from dining at great restaurants - is my Australian Shepherd who is smarter than most peoples' honor students. I'm a volunteer for ARPH, an Australian Shepherd rescue group that fosters and places Aussie dogs.
My Ideal Person
I'm attracted to articulate extroverts who have keen senses of humor, who are sensitive, tender, able to communicate on a deep level and who are not afraid to be affectionate in public. I like men who care about nature and the world around them, who value positive relationships with all people. I'd like an honest, open, considerate, faithful, loyal, kind man who isn't into two-timing and who doesn't play games with my head or heart.
What would you do on an ideal date?: Dinner at a fancy restaurant, slow dancing and a moonlit walk on the beach., Dinner at some new restaurant, dancing at a night club, coffee and maybe more at your place., Jetting off to Paris to have dinner at the top of the Eiffel Tower as the sunsets.
Tell us about your personal style and why it works for you. Casual and comfy? Sharp and professional?: When I was working I dressed in a professional style...suits, dresses, heels, fine simple jewelry. Now that I'm retired I enjoy being in my jeans and a sweater or tee-shirt, and my sneakers. I'm not one for a lot of costume jewelry. I like fine jewelry in small classy doses, but I always wear small gold hoop earrings, even with jeans or casual wear.
