I recently relocated from Charlotte, NC to Valdosta for a 3 year leadership training program (civilian) with the Air Force. I love my job and am slowly getting used to the small town life. I think of myself as a creative and intuitive person who loves to be challenged... and am always up for meeting new people.
I have a very silly dog, Bella, who keeps me very entertained...I am a lover and admire that quality in others, it speaks volumes about them, in my mind. I love travelling... Headed down the road with the windows down and the music blaring is one way I love to spend my time. It is a very freeing feeling. I want to see every inch of this country as well as the rest of the world. I am a mountain lover and try to get into the hills whenever I can. I love that certain smell in the mountain air, you can't find it anywhere else. I am a big music fan and am especially partial to indie rock, bluegrass, blues, and ambient. All forms of art intrigue me as well and I do like to surround myself with creativity when I have the time. I love to introduce others to things that I have discovered, as well as being introduced to new things all the time. I will try *almost* anything once. I consider myself a bit of a nerd and get a kick out of learning all kinds of interesting stuff. I try, whenever humanly possible, to see life through humor, and I am looking for someone who can laugh and be laughed at. I enjoy staying active, not much of a couch potato (unless I am snuggled up next to a certain someone). I won't lie and say that I LOVE working out, but I do it because I need to and I want to be as healthy as I can. And right now, the Air Force pays me to, so I love that! Just started training for a 5K, so that's exciting!! Who knew running was so fun?!?! My friends and family are very important to me, and I definitely look for that quality in others.
My Ideal Person
I am looking for someone who likes to keep life interesting and fun, shares many of my interests, is open minded and intelligent, and enjoys expanding their knowledge of the world around them. I am looking for a man who is secure and confident, and who takes care of himself both physically and emotionally. But I am not perfect, and I don't expect him to be either. We are all works in progress!
