About me... At first meeting, I may seem quiet and reserved, but there's much more than meets the eye. My career is a large part of my life, but is not the only part. Business suits and pumps, wornout jeans and flannel..that's me. I enjoy simple pleasures, especially if its around water, say kayaking down a beautiful river, scuba diving in the Peuget Sound, or just lying on a tropical beach. I can be a bit of a homebody, primarily due to my many projects. You won't find me on the couch reading novels (well maybe a good technical book or landscaping/remodeling guide) or watching TV (except for Discovery Channel). You'll find me in my office, out working in my yard, or tending my aviaries (did I mention I raise exotic birds too?). I will uproot an entire rosebed or tear down a wall in my house on a whim because ....I think it will look better over there. Some may find that impulsive but to me it's all play. My dream home is an older style cottage with a wrap-around front porch overlooking, say the Peuget Sound. For now, I'm just enjoying remodeling the one I have. My dream vacations would be backpacking thru the ruins of Greece, diving the Great Barrier Rief, or taking a African safari. Of course, in the meantime, a relaxing week on a Tahitian beach would do. I'm not a MotelSix kind of girl. The HyattRegency sure, but a backpack and tent works well too. My favorite way to relax with a partner is in front of the fireplace on a stormy day; I actually like it when the power goes off ... so romantic! I believe that there are always new things to learn and new adventures to take.

This may seem strange, but my first screening criteria is ... a man who goes to bed at night at the same time I do, usually 10 to 11pm. A guy who would rather stay up late watching TV and/or playing on the computer is not the man for me. Don't misunderstand; it's not the time of eve, it is the intimacy requirement in turning out the lights together! If you pass this, read on. You must be a clean-cut, reasonably attractive, professional man. No meatNpotatos men; healthy living habits required. No skirt chasers. No love sick puppy dogs. Patience, honesty, compassion, and spontenaity required. Closeness to family as well as Christian beliefs a BIG plus. Must be willing to spend time getting to know me on-line. Again, I'm just browsing, but ..... if you catch my eye .... who knows!
