I realize I am not for everyone, so I am going to present my unvarnished self.
1. The Good Part: I am a secure, family-oriented, well-traveled, intellectual man who is easy to get along with. Have lived in Santa Barbara, Calif., Naples Florida & Cleveland, Columbus, & Cincinnati Ohio. Also, have the right to become a dual citizen of Italy. Have traveled extensively to China. Am lucky to have multiple businesses that support me, but also give me a great deal of freedom with my time. Want someone who has achieved something substantial in her work and who is level-headed, intellectually curious,personable and, at times, has an independent streak. Most people would state that I have a good, droll, sense of humor. Also, have been working out 7 days a week (both lifting and cardio) for about 2 years and feel ridiculously good. Am easily, at least 13 years, functionally, younger than my listed age.
2. The Practical Part: Being 68 and having a 14-year-old girl doesn't fit in well with typical relationships. I have come to realize that it is not fair for me to ask someone with an accomplished, full rich life to date me seriously on the path to marriage at this time. If there is ever a conflict between my and any relationship I have, my has to come first. (Her mother died 11 years ago). So, at this time, I am looking for a woman to share travel (such as China or Italy) and other fun, fascinating, relaxing times with. (My being 18 and going to college this fall, is not part of the equation) I would like marriage in the future, but it is mostly not in the cards now for practical reasons.
2. The Not So Good Part For Some Women: Although I very much enjoy communication, I am not the type who is attracted to long continuous conversations. So, I am not going to be able to hold hands on Siesta Key and talk continuously for 3 hours. On the other hand, a long walk interspersed with intelligent conversation would be wonderful. I have an independent streak and don't need companionship all of the time although I would definitely like to share my life and experiences with a woman.
Also, as to pets, one is the max for me. I like dogs, but more than one would not be pleasant.
4. More of the Good Stuff
Also, I am a very creative and good problem solver. I keep my head during difficult times and plow through the issues. Additionally, genetically speaking, I am a very lucky person. Both of my parents were very healthy -- my father worked until he was 86. I also work out 7 days a week.

5. Also, please provide multiple pictures and pictures that include your full figure from a reasonable angle. Obviously, one headshot, in of itself, taken from a 45 degree angle a foot or two above your head does not provide a very good representation of what someone looks like.
