"My definition of freedom? Hmmm...let's see. I would have to say that my definition of freedom is being yourself and staying true to yourself. Trying to act like someone else, or trying to portray something of yourself that you are not....well, to me, that isn't freedom. And am I free? You bet your ass I am! I'll never let anyone EVER tell me different!! Be it on FriendFinder or out there in the real world...I am who I am and I am proud of it."

"To answer your question what does it mean to me to be "free" or have "freedom" I would first start by saying that freedom within one's self starts at your soul or being.

I am currently becoming more "free" because I'm getting in touch with who I really am and who I will aspire too. I am also being "true" to my owns desires and needs from myself, potential relationships, friends and family.

My thoughts are now more unchained than ever and after surrounding myself with more spiritual people I found that I've almost been imprisoned for far too long. Now I'm free!

Being free is also a form of self expression. When one is "free" of wondering how others will accept them, one came be even more true to express themselves as we will in mannerisms, attire, attitude, knowledge, emotions and so on. To many people live for what they feel others will or won't accept then as and they live almost in a form of self-imprisonment."

“The ultimate freedom is freedom from our mind. Our mind is always in the way between us and our true source.

With respect to sexuality and interaction between men and woman - this is a dating site! - freedom means to be able to step out from the mind and dance fully the blending dance of attraction. The mind is mostly concern with safety. The frantic need of the illusionary idea of safety is the biggest blockage in the dating game.

That is why for example frequently long emailing messages are needed. If we were completely free we would inevitably and effortlessly attract our true lover and very few words would be needed!

True lovers do not need to talk so much. They already know what they need to know and all they want is to disappear. Unfortunately these sorts of lovers, particularly in the USA and other most civilized countries, are very rare.

Everybody is completely taken by the mind (which means taken by fear). Spontaneity is not allowed. That is why the word "dating" is needed. Dating somebody means: I am very concern with my needeness so I am going to test this person and ask him/her questions and see if he/she is in line with my needs and conditions.

In an healthy and balanced society there would not be such thing as dating. There would be just spontaneous free instinctive action.

To date is like to dance with the constant fear that the music will stop. How can we enjoy the dance, how can we be good dancer if we are always afraid and concern about the music and when it will stop? That, to me, would be freedom."

"Wow, tough question. What is my definition of freedom? What does freedom mean to me? To me these are both the same. Freedom to me is being able to do what ever I want as long as it does NOT infringe on some ones else's freedom. I don't believe anyone has that right. But the idea of being able to do whatever I want, whenever I want, with whomever I want, this idea to me would be freedom. To me freedom and being happiness are one in the same. To be truly happy in your life, you must have freedom."

What about you? What does freedom mean in your life? Do you consider yourself free?
