What would I like to be famous for? Truthfully, I’m not out to be famous ‒ in fact, I think I have enough notoriety in my field already! - but if I had to choose I'd like to be famous for creating some new prosperity in the world. I am working a bit toward that now, with an attempt to open an office in Nikolaev, in the Ukraine. Just to be clear, though, it’s not that is not that I want to make myself more prosperous at the exclusion of others, but that I want to make the world a little better, even if it is just one person at time.
I think fame uses people more than people can use fame effectively. I mean just look at actors who use their bully pulpit to try to create social change as they would like to see the world! Without the training or real heart behind their efforts, without some real personal stake in the outcome, they are just politicians who never were elected. We have enough politicians. So I guess I would attempt to use my fame to continue the efforts I became famous for!

If I could be famous for something it would be for healing and for world peace. I would use any fame I had to ease mental and physical abuse and to help the suffering of those too weak to help themselves. I’d work toward tranquility and peace to the world. It’s idealistic, I know, but it’s truly what I believe.

Well, I'm not really into fame and fortune. I guess you could say I'm a humble guy. I like the simple things in life, like waking up in the morning to a new day. The only thing I really want is, when I die, for God to tell me that I did okay. If I were a celebrity, though, I would use my fame to help the less fortunate, such as the homeless, drug and alcohol abusers, and so on. I think if you’re in the spotlight you have a responsibility to the many others who cannot speak their own minds as easily.

To be completely honest with you, there's not really anything out there, at least in the way of being an actress or singer or dancer or anything like that, that I’d like to be famous for. There is one more unusual thing, though: I’m an emergency vet assistant and I love my job. If I was given the opportunity to do something to become famous for it would be to start my own rescue shelter (particularly pit bulls!)
I’d let people know that there is someone out there that could help them and can count on, especially since the pit bull breed is discriminated against for awful reasons. I’d never let the fame get to my head and I would only use my fame for the dogs’ cause, and not my own!

Okay ‒ I know this isn’t really a hard question but it does pose a problem, because I have never wanted to be famous! laughs But if I were to gain fame for any one thing in life, I would have to say I’d want to be known for being an honest, peace-loving person, and I would hope that I could use that in bringing together a world in which there were no borders or divisions based on religion, color or economic worth. I’d work for one world, in which every person had an equal share not determined by their social standing or financial status. Pretty outrageous, hm?

What would I be famous for? Well, I have already been there! Okay ‒ fine: fame in this case is subjective but I did do okay! But that was the music business - long, tough, heartbreaking, inspiring and satisfying! So I guess, since I’ve covered that territory, I’d have to find fame in something new.

I’d want to have it revolve around something I love to do, and I am tempted to pick cooking, but I think that doing it professionally would rob me of the joy as it did when I became a successful musician. Because of that, I'd like to instead produce the most spectacular Olympic opening ceremony ever. I love the idea of bringing the world together in joyous celebration of a truly international event.

As to how I’d use my fame? Well, I would use it as a ticket to travel the world to experience genuine friendship and love that can only be offered by people who are not impressed by fame.

If I had a choice on what I would be famous for it would to put the little town I come from on the map as a famous tourist destination, and I would use my fame to create an awareness of the beautiful area I come from. It’s a wonderful area: Rainy River is one of those towns set back a step in time. The local police are our friends. If your dog runs on your neighbors’ lawn, they’ll be just as apt to feed it a treat or scratch its ears rather than call the dog catcher.
The rolls of quarters left on the seat of the unlocked car parked downtown for a week are still there when you pick up the vehicle. It’s incredible. And Lake of the Woods with its thousands of islands, sand beaches, and abundant wildlife is awe inspiring. Every time I go there I feel as though I’m seeing it for the first time: there’s a amazing unity with nature. I love my home, with the a combination of warm friendly people and many samples of nature's best, and I’d love to share this little piece of heaven with others.

What about you? If you could pick one thing you'd like to be known for, what would it be? And if you did suddenly become a celebrity, how would you use your fame?
