For not keeping in touch. Alot of things have happened. But with all your prayers and thoughts my Sister recovered, took awhile but she made it. We really thought we lost her. But we did not!!
Thank You!!
Next I spent 3 weeks at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester Mn, Getting off of ALL my pain meds and learning how to deal with pain without drugs, Wow! Was that FUNKY!!
Withdrawls from Fental and Morphine suck. My legs wanted to run away from my body, I could not sit still, which made it tough in my classes there. And on breaks outside talking to other people that were there going thru the same thing, We all looked like we were spasic dancers, could not stand still, legs had to be moving all the time. LOL
BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6 MONTHS FREE OF PAIN MEDS, YIPPEEE! DID NOT THINK I WOULD MAKE IT, WINTER HAS BEEN HELL, AND I DO NOT MEAN HOT!
(It snowed today, yuk! yuk!)
My lives with me now, yea he had a bad time and needed a place to live to straighen his life out. Has He? You say? Well he has a good start on it.

Sorry I have not been around much, but was called to take an Emergency trip to Missouri by my Sisters, that my oldest Sister was not doing very well. When I got here(In Missouri) she, well! We did not think she would make it. Then she got better, but today she took a turn for the worse. So I am still in Missouri.(Granby Missouri Please Pray for her.

Oh! My Gosh! I have been so busy with Physical Theropy Appts. and Doctor Visits, I am just going crazy(crazier)
My foot is getting better, But Man does it hurt when I've been on my feet to much. I am off the crutches, which is a good thing, Grace is NO part of my name at all!!
I go to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Mn. on Monday, all day long. The Doctors sent me there because my Fybromyalgia is getting worse. I am in so much pain now that it is maddening.
(I'm a woose when it comes to being in pain)
They have a special Fybromyalgia Wing there so maybe they can do something. I am so tired of being in pain(sniff sniff)
And Smoky(my kitty) is such a Brat! She will try to get me to get up out of bed in the morn, when I don't, she will weezle her way under the covers, and attack my toes, Make me get up!! And she does not stop until I do. Evil !!
Well at least Smoky and Topaz has left poor Lucky alone. I just wonder how long that will last!!!

Hello Here I am again Just Rambling...
Have not had a very good week...
To start with The Doctor thought they would be Brilliant and put me on that New Drug "Lyrica" just for Fybromyalsia, well I went to my Physical Therapy appt., for my foot, the beginning of the week, and My Therapist goes,"Oh! My Gosh! Your Foot is so swollen!" (Yea! I kinda noticed that)
(I kinda noticed the whole body swollen)
Well guess what the side effects of Lyrica is????
Come on?? Guess?? Yes! Swelling!!!!!
And Yes! Swelling of the hands and feet are a bad side effect. Needless to say those went in the trash!!
My Toes are so swollen, my feet hurt, especially my "new" foot, Every Inch of my Body hurts and is screaming at me when I move. I still can not walk with out my crutches, well! Now it might be longer,since the Docs are trying to reduce the swelling,. Even My Hair hurts
Can Hair even hurt?? Well mine does...
The weight gain, OH! MY! GOSH! I have NEVER in my Life weighed this much before..I can not get into any of my clothes, and the thought of me walking around nekked, is NOT AN OPTION...
and I want a cigarette, have not had one in 2 weeks 
And I just found out a Good Friend of Mine, who Lives in Washington DC is now at home with Hospice care,
Okay I think I am done Whining now

Pupysitting Lucky

As some of you know I babysit for my girlfriend when she has some errands to run. Lucky is no problem to watch, he just lays around, it's to cold to go outside, he goes potty and then runs back in fast....
I also have a little kiiten,"Smoky", and my girlfriend also has Smoky's sister, "Topaz"
So she brought Lucky and Topaz up for me to watch.
Smoky and Topaz gang up on poor Lucky so much it sad.
Well I was in the bathroom taking a shower(it takes me time, with the foot and all)
All of a sudden I heard Lucky Wimpering, I yelled out, It will be okay, I'll be done in a little while. Knowing he does not like to be alone.
The whimpering continued, I got done Hobbled out to the front room, and looked around,
All I seen was Smoky and Topaz sitting in my little round wicker chair, I could hear Lucky but could not see him, I called for him, Then I realized where he was, He was Under the little round wicker chair, with both cats sitting on it.
The cats put him there!! What Brats! See how the pick on poor Lucky!!
Well I got him out from under the chair, he layed on the couch under the covers, He was so Tramatized.....LOL

Diary of a Minnesota Snow Shoveler

December 8: 6:00 PM.
It started to snow. The first snow of the season and the wife and I took our cocktails and sat for hours by the window watching the huge soft flakes drift down from heaven. It looked like a Grandma Moses print. So romantic we felt like newlyweds again. I love snow!
December 9:
We woke to a beautiful blanket of crystal white snow covering every inch of the landscape. What a fantastic sight! Can there be a more lovely place in the whole world? Moving here was the best idea I've ever had. Shoveled for the first time in years and felt like a boy again. I did both our driveway and the sidewalks. This afternoon the snow plow came along and covered up the sidewalks and closed in the driveway, so I got to shovel again. What a perfect life.
December 12:
The sun has melted all our lovely snow. Such a disappointment. My neighbor Bob tells me not to worry, we'll definitely have a white Christmas. No snow on Christmas would be awful! Bob says we'll have so much snow by the end of winter, that I'll never want to see snow again. I don't think that's possible. Bob is such a nice man. I'm glad he's our neighbor.
December 14:
Snow, lovely snow! 8" last night. The temperature dropped to -20. The cold makes everything sparkle so. The wind took my breath away, but I warmed up by shoveling the driveway and sidewalks. This is the life! The snowplow came back this afternoon and buried everything again. I didn't realize I would have to do quite this much shoveling, but I'll certainly get back in shape this way. I wish I wouldn't huff and puff so.
December 15:
20 inches forecast. Sold my van and bought a 4x4 Blazer. Bought snow tires for the wife's car and 2 extra shovels. Stocked the freezer. The wife wants a wood stove in case the electricity goes out. I think that's silly. We aren't in Alaska , after all.
December 16:
Ice storm this morning. Fell on my ass on the ice in the driveway putting down salt. Hurt like hell. The wife laughed for an hour, which I think was very cruel.
December 17:
Still way below freezing. Roads are too icy to go anywhere. Electricity was off for 5 hours. I had to pile the blankets on to stay warm... Nothing to do but stare at the wife and try not to irritate her. Guess I should've bought a wood stove, but won't admit it to her. God I hate it when she's right. I can't believe I'm freezing to death in my own living room.
December 20:
Electricity's back on, but had another 14" of the damn stuff last night. More shoveling. Took all day. God damn snowplow came by twice. Tried to find a neighbor to shovel, but they said they're too busy playing hockey. I think they're lying. Called the only hardware store around to see about buying a snow blower and they're out. Might have another shipment in March. I think they're lying. Bob says I have to shovel or the city will have it done and bill me. I think he's lying.
December 22:
Bob was right about a white Christmas because 13 more inches of the white shit fell today, and it's so cold it probably won't melt till August. Took me 45 minutes to get all dressed up to go out to shovel And then I had to piss. By the time I got undressed, pissed and dressed again, I was too tired to shovel. Tried to hire Bob who has a plow on his truck for the rest of the winter; but he says he's too busy. I think the asshole is lying.
December 23:
Only 2" of snow today. And it warmed up to 0. The wife wanted me to decorate the front of the house this morning. What is she...nuts??? Why didn't she tell me to do that a month ago? She says she did but I think she's damn well lying.
December 24:
6". Snow packed so hard by snowplow, l broke the shovel. Thought I was having a heart attack. If I ever catch the of a bitch who drives that snowplow, I'll drag him through the snow by his balls. I know he hides around the corner and waits for me to finish shoveling and then he comes down the street at a 100 miles an hour and throws snow all over where I've just been! Tonight the wife wanted me to sing Christmas carols with her and
open our presents, but I was busy watching for the goddamn snowplow.
December 25:
Merry Christmas. 20 more inches of the !=FriendFinder@!x!x1 slop tonight. Snowed in. The idea of shoveling makes my blood boil. God I hate the snow! Then the snowplow driver came by asking for a and I hit him over the head with my shovel. The wife says I have a bad attitude. I think she's an idiot. If I have to watch "It's a Wonderful Life" one more time, I'm going to kill her.
December 26:
Still snowed in. Why the hell did I ever move here? It was all HER idea. She's really getting on my nerves.
December 27:
Temperature dropped to -30 and the pipes froze.
December 28:
Warmed up to above -50. Still snowed in. THE BITCH is driving me crazy!!!
December 29:
10 more inches. Bob says I have to shovel the roof or it could cave in. That's the silliest thing I ever heard. How dumb does he think I am?
December 30:
Roof caved in. The snow plow driver is suing me for a million dollars for the bump on his head. The wife went home to her mother . 9" predicted.
December 31:
Set fire to what's left of the house. No more shoveling.
January 8:
I feel so good. I just love those little white pills they keep giving me. Why am I tied to the bed?

Yes! It's me and I am Still Alive

I know! I know! Bad Loretta!! Bad Loretta!! For not keeping in touch. Well to start with, I had my surgery, on my left foot, Was quite Interesting, They had to break the little toes and put pins in them(I now have an Alien foot)(with eyes) And also cut the tendon under the foot and expand it. The surgery was on Jan 4th and I just got the stitches removed from the toes last week, still have the stitches under the foot(they come out next week) and the pins will be in there for awhile yet.
Still in my Apt. and Love it. I now have a 4 legged , "Smoky" Little Kitty, She is just learning that she can take a running start and leap up on things, Yes! Sometimes she does miss and of course she looks at me like it's my fault.
(It was very funny, when my Girlfriend brought me home from having surgery, I had to be in a wheelchair for 3 days-drugged, and I had to have someone with me also, and she was it, I would call her to help me into the wheelchair and take me to the bathroom, Well Smoky would jump into the wheelchair and Meow and Meow until my girlfriend would come to see what was wrong,finally figured out Smoky needed to go to the bathroom,and wanted my girlfriend to wheel her in there..)
Oh yea! By the way it's friggin' COLD here....
In the -12...

PS. I have to get all NEW shoes, NONE of mine I have now will fit....

I'm still here just alittle under the weather.
How come you get the Flu shot to keep you from getting sick? And you get sick from the Flu shot! GO FIGURE!
Next awful news is...
I have to have surgery on my feet, with all of my health issues I have and all the meds I am on, It has taken a toll on my feet. Mainly the tendons and bones. LUCKY ME!!
They are going to start with the left foot, break all the little toes, straighten them with pins, cut the tendon on top and under the foot and lengthen them. YEP! It sounds very painful!
Doc said I will be unable to walk for several months, and it won't be healed for lots of months,
Then they will do the other foot and start all over with the months in pain.
It will be on Jan 4th. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME! YUCK!
And yes! I am whineing, but I do serve cheese
