Well went on the date, had an awesome time.
We had a lovely dinner at a quaint italian restaurant, and then off to a club where we danced until the sun came up.
But no romantic walks along the beach under the moonlight..............
A wonderful guy who I will definitely see again, but there was no spark. (I guess I was looking for the same spark I felt the night I met my ex).
I sound like someone interviewed after a date on some dating game - LOL!
Thanks again for all the advice I got, I am glad I went on the date. I met a wonderful guy.
And hey who knows what may happen in time.....................

The purpose of life is to.....
1. Share your love. Truly pursue this purpose in life with passion, and all the others will follow naturally! Love everyone, and start with those closest to you.
2. Give to others. You can make a difference in the world! Choose to serve and give in small ways right now. One purpose of life is to serve others.
3. Increase in light. Your spirit and body can actually hold light. Learn to flow with light, bringing it into your life and letting it flow out to others.
4. Learn wisdom. Pursue wisdom not as your final purpose, but for the love of wisdom and also to better serve others with increased talents. Read the best books and learn all you can. Truth is eternal and you can take it with you!
5. Accept yourself. Love who you are. Your birth, body, parents, strengths, weaknesses all have a purpose. Accept your purpose and your talents. Feel your emotions and allow them to flow.
6. Enjoy the mystery. Wonder at the beauty and richness of life without trying to figure it all out. See the world in childlike simplicity and joy.
7. Create your reality. In this sphere, you choose with your thoughts what to create. Be bold in life, and decide what you really want. Move toward all your dreams with a powerful vision! You can learn to consciously create your life.
8. Follow the spirit. Trust your inner voice that leads you and prompts you into the higher paths. As you listen to the spiirt, you will achieve greater inspiration for all your daily activities.
9. Revel in the present. Find joy, focus and engagement in every present activity. Your point of personal power is the present moment. You can only act in the present.
10. Experience Joy. The ultimate purpose of this life is joy and happiness. We maximize our joy by pursuing it indirectly. Simply by pursuing the first nine purposes of life the tenth (Joy) will flow magnetically to you.

Well I need to go away for a few days up to disgusting Johannesburg (this is only my opinion so hope not to affend any gautengers who may read this) for work so will try and keep in touch as much as possible but expect work to be a bit hectic.
Also need to catch up with a few friends on the weekend so will be doing some serious partying.
Miss my friends since I have moved to George, but don't miss the Gauteng life, that is for sure. It is lovely by the coast.

Facebook - Now how many of you belong to "Facebook"?
Don't you find it appalling that all people are doing, is trying to achieve more friends than their other virtual friend. I mean really, there is no way that one of my friends (who is listed with 500 friends) would ever even have 10 real friends - he is a total wacko.
Another irk is all the add on applications - so many of them are just so far fetched - would you really join the rageing vampire club if they were having meetings in the city hall down the road from you. And would you really go to a cult meeting where people are throughing real furniture around - I think NOT!!!!
It is funny how, when sent a request from someone, whom you loathe, and would walk a mile in the opposite direction to avoid, for friendship on Face book - you just can't decline.
Maybe another application needed by Face book should be an enemies list, for all those people you know, but think are total wacko's.
At least then you will be able to hit the correct wacko over the head with a virtual chair or two.

For those of you who don't know what this GET OUT OF JAIL CARD (GOOJ) is - and no I am not referring to anything belonging to a Monopoly game - it is an agreement with your partner that despite your "monogamous relationship", except of course for all those couples who are into swiging these days, there is one person you'll never turn down for a shag.
Should the opportunity ever arise, that is.
And it usually won't, given that most of the answers given when asked the question "Who is your GOOJ card?" is actually an A-list celebrity from another hemisphere, or even worse, a dead A-list celebrity from another hemisphere.
For example James Dean or Greta Garbo or Marilyn.
If you had to choose a GOOJ card who would it be?
