A little Question ....For a Big Person? When I was little some where around 12 turning 13 I used to exscape into T.V. I couldn't handle the world around me so I would exscape into the T.V. and everything I saw was real to me.Of course we only had Channels 6,8,and 13 but that was enough for me to exscape to.There where some cartoons and other programs i liked I never liked the news like I do today. But thats another story. On to this story for now.well a couple of cartoons I liked was the Flinstones besides Zero, and Batmasterson My Heros !!! But the flinstones I could watch all day.The Stone age.Oh! yea and Felix the Cat he would laugh so hard his sides would ache and pull things out of his magic bag. Now for my question now that i am older and I watch the waltons John Boy must have been still writing his book back then. But now that it is finished and I watch. My question is Why does the Flinstones In the stone age have T.V.But the Waltones are out of the stone age or right after the stone age I guess. Why Don't They have T.V.? Silly question or not its somthing that was on my mind today. Now I have to go peel a tangireen for my Grand baby. See you soon |

you are so funny and amusing, loves ya sweets. ive been to work, woke up at 4am god dam 2 hours before i needed to get up for work,so i layed there thinking, brain shut up,leave me alone turn off pleeeeeeeasssseee, would it listen no it wouldnt lol so im sitting here like a corpse, and im stumped,i thought well the waltons lived on a mountain, and lets face it a family that size when would they get the time to watch tv anyway!!!! probably why johnboy was so creative,no tv to numb the brain,by the time they had cooked the meal, ate, washed up,all talked of their day,it was bedtime anyway, and they still had the saying goodnight senario to get through, lol. the flintstones i was thinking well tv was a big thing back in the 50s,lol then realized we are talking stoneage era here,so all i can think of is the writers were so blown away by television that they felt obliged to include it in the making of this great programme. Strange i never noticed the tv before in the flintstones,as in yes i know they had one,but my brain didnt think huh why have they got a tv exhaustion has arrived so im off to rest my head for a while,an afternoon kip, hope you get some good advice from my blog also,we are such similar creatures you and me. big hugs hun bun, have a nice day xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx come and roll in the mud i wanna get dirty.

nope. it was appalachia and they were poor ppl, weren't they? How come they didnt' have a still if they lived up in the mountains. Were they the god-fearing sort? Hey, john boy was kinda a hottie, wasn't he? I dunno uneek.. but i remember that the flinstones had all sorts of devices too. remember the bird's tail they used to pull at Fred Flinstone's job to sound the end of work? LOL I loved Felix the cat, do you remember Top Cat? He was like the original punk rebel.. and that crazy wood pecker. Woody the Wood pecker. I loved the cartoons back then. They were the bomb! You, now for only having 3 stations to choose from, we really had some good TV to watch back then. The TV writers are worthless fecks imho. Hardly anthing worth watching on TV now. It's all like soft porn or something a 14 year old would think up, if that old.
