 I know it's very difficult to trust but......
I am the pioneer of erection of Wind Mill. When MEDA (google for long-form.) was formed they wanted to errect the wind mills at very remote hill tops on Trial Basis. The Authority approached me and I accepted..... What I remember now is At Chalkewadi..
Table Land Panchagani,and other 5 Remote hill tops we get the desired wind speed. At one hill top from Patan Taluka I hired even Chopper to transport the Material from base village to Selected hill top.
That time only MEDA was leading the wind projects in all over India.MEDA wanted me to fix the blades to the tower on ground and then errect the towers by Crane
But I opposed their Idea and I first errected the towers and then by hiring Helicopter (Chopper) I lifted the Hudge Blades and fixed to the towers by using the Chopper.... Which afterwards became the compulsory process in the Govt. Schedule Of Rates in all over India. It's not the Entertaing story but the Fact.
