I am glad to hear that you are resting when you get tired. I tore open my garage roof this afternoon in the hot sunshine. The water damage is worse than I had anticipated, so now I need to replace some 20' long 2x6" rafters as well as the sheeting. I got tired and dizzy while on the roof so had to come down the ladder quickly and give up for the day. My neighbor is going to help me buy some material because I have zero dollars. He is also going to see what is available for support beam to put inside to better support the roof span. Showers are forecast for Wed, so I don't have much time to get it closed back up.

Here's a power prayer for the strength to get the project completed in due course. I have a section on the main apartment that needs attention.... maybe yet this year. A 4 AM piss break and gonna grab a few dates.

Thanks for the prayer; it worked. Now the forecast is nothing but sun and summer-like temps for the next week. I was up on the roof again today with low blood pressure making me very dizzy and weak. I have the space ready for the 3 new rafters and am now waiting on the neighbor to bring the materials. Hopefully tomorrow can get them installed then put the new sheathing down, then membrane, then the metal roofing. It should go quickly even if I end up doing it by myself, which I prefer.

Hope you had a great day, Bret.
