I got home yesterday afternoon. They released me with a scheduled surgery in Des Moines being set up. I have a gall stone stuck in the tract. I wish they'd just take the whole G D Gall bladder and be done with it. I appreciate all your comments, thoughts, any prayers.

 I am stupidly over medicated at this point. I crawled this morning picking the green beans. Made us egg salad sandwiches for lunch.

So good to hear from you, Darter. We have been worried. A stone removal is easily resolved with minor surgery, but there is always a possibility of another one growing in there. Good to hear that surgery is scheduled. That egg salad sandwich sounds enticing.

It is 93F here right now, S 15 mph, partly cloudy with 30% thunder later. I was up on a hot tin roof this morning and again this afternoon working on an exhaust fan for a neighbor. Turns out the motor is toast and can't get a new one anywhere. Everything is on back order with no expected delivery date. I finally got a chance to sit down at 4 pm and have been doggy sitting since noon. One puppy ran away so I took him back to his owner. I am not healthy enough to chase dogs. My BP has been exceptionally low, 83/46. I can't function when it is that low.

I'm really happy to hear you have quit smoking yourself, and are just inhaling JD's second hand smoke. Please try to break the habit/addiction. It will be good for your overall health and help you live longer. I know it is difficult with a heavy smoker in the house. I wish you luck.

New brushes wouldn't get the motor going again!? If the G D Mutt can't stay put with you then let his owner chase the stupid thing./ !!! Someone dumped a MUTT type dog off here and it has been following JD around ...not brought it in the house yet or around MUTTs Inc....

So far so good hardest time is evenings setting with JD... Kinda looking like rain here Getting ready to toss the steaks on the grill. Went through mail.... glad I did $$$$$$$$ make deposit tomorrow

This motor is the brushless AC kind with a capacitor start. Not very many motors have brushes any more.

The runaway mutt will soon be unwelcome at my place if he keeps giving me problems. The first thing he does when he comes in my shack is find a place to poop on the floor.
