Receiving Stolen Property


A vicious rumor has arisen that I might have acquired "Stolen Property "



To set the record straight; This poor orphan tree showed up in the back of a derelict pickup... What's a guy to do ? Just let it die unattended ? NOT ME !

I gave it a loving home where it will be cared for, nurtured, and well watered



This downy hawthorn (Crataegus mollis ) is the largest and most common of the hawthorns found in Iowa. It's Low spreading branches are similar to an apple tree.

They generally flower in May - June in our area. The fragrant blossoms are arranged in loose clumps. Right now you go outside and the air is sweet with the fragrance..



I don't know if the fruit is any good, however, the deer and birds enjoy them.

Airbag casts are a lot more comfortable yet still provide excellent support.

I spent the day cutting down a 45' tall tree that died over the winter. Hauled away the debris. Walked the dog, absorbed some UV rays, visited with a neighbor, enjoyed a veggy stir fry for supper.

I seen m,y Dr at 13:00.. he's ordered a bunch of tests and took 4 veils of blood. Gave me a shot of Tordahl.... Gawd I feel 18 again.

A pleasant 74 F here with a chance of rain... JD has to get the Hay bailed tomorrow. he raked it today.

I am not worried after I get a main stem growing I can trim them up and train them.
