The potato farmers in Idaho are shaking in their boots since my Potato Crop Report came out !

LOOK at all these plants emerging in the container!

I stuck in more potato "eyes" several weeks ago to make a display pot for the brick patio.

Quiet day here had some business to attend to over the phone. Painted some stuff, did the usual cooking and cleaning , and just waiting for JD to come in for dinner...

Nice to have a continual expectation of production from your plants.

It was a nice day here, reaching sunny high of 70F, clear, very light breeze from the SE. I shortened my lawn with the tractor mower in the morning, absorbed some solar radiation for an hour, then in the afternoon, took the dog for a walk and helped a friend move some stuff from one house to another in the village.

I had a bbq burger, 2 baked spuds and a small serving of salad for supper.

IDK if I will get much of a crop with so many plants crowded in there. I will hit them up with nitrogen fertilizer in a few days... we are to have rain all week.

If nothing else I will have a pretty pot full of greenery for display.

I managed to stay busy with a few pressing matters handled in the morning and the rest of the day a steady pace of little accomplishments that nobody will notice.

If they have died you better dig them before they rot or potato beetle gets them. There is also a potato blight
