Photo Friday... just under the wire... "B"


"B" is for Box... I had an old rough Cedar box that is pretty weathered out.



I'd used it for flowers on my Grandparents graves.



I sealed up the cracks with some latex calking



Added a few more screws to draw it in tighter.



Tossed in some potting soil after setting a few days. For the second "B" of my photobomb I planted Basil in the box so I have freshly snipped herbs for cooking and munching.

 Did you drive the car home yourself? What city was it in? DSM? If that is the case, I can well imagine how tired you must be after driving that far one-legged.

We had a high temperature here today of only 44F. There was 4 to 6" of fresh snow on the ground west of Calgary. The wind was brutal from the NW. I think this cold front is headed your way. Maybe that is why you had to start a fire.

By the time we were done eating the "rush hour" traffic was over and we had a pleasant trip home. I did hit 105 MPH after Ames... the road was dead.... I had the cruise set for 75 MPH otherwise.

I hope JD tossed in a big hunk... I am not going up and the gas bill gets paid outta the farm account. I have some beautiful banknotes and coins coming from EEbay... a seller I've bought from and trusted for years.
