Discombobulation  The car dealership called about 10* this morning that the car was ready and if I wanted to come down to sign the papers. It had gone through final prep and cleaning. I called a friend then changed clothes. We left about noonish. I test drove the car around the lot then out on a back street to get the feel for it vs the Beemer.... I have not driven in over a month... TUFF MY Mercedes.... to the Benzpad. In the interval between their call and our arrival it was discovered the air conditioning was not up to their specifications. They would keep the car, repair it and bring it to me. Less a reduction in the price for my trouble of the trip.  On the way home we stopped off for Chinese Buffet and some rummaging in a few junque shoppes. I Found some HUGE flower pots reasonably priced... Ok... cheap! This coppery colored pot is about a gallon and a half.  The biggest easily thr*ee gallons. The shiny grey patina will be outstanding on the cast iron base I have selected for it.  In the fading twilight I managed to get the second coat of paint on the cast iron bases. The bases are the cut off ends of sewer line run in town I managed to salvage to repurpose.  I also seen "pest" eliminators that emit a high pitched sound that runs off mice and bugs. I placed a dozen of them strategically through the house. |

63 F... 17 C here they have dropped the precip chances for tonight.... JD is home.

The day while a disappointment is for the better. AC might come in handy if I keep the top up on a hot day.

JD is HOME... Corn is all planted.... Now for soybeans then oats. Always busy ... now for some JD time after he gets done with the horses.... Goldie will block him in the stable till he has had his fill of JD.

Too bad about the wasted trip to town to get the car, but you did manage to salvage the day by finding some nice planter pots.
