Down to Business

I spent the better share of my morning along with a good chunk of the afternoon helping my guy ,Martin. We have a sideline Landscaping and lawn care.... The season is just getting started. Some places needed mowing others didn't.

There were also some carpet issues that needed addressing....A couple phone calls with an estimate will solve that.

I leave you with a little smile I've got to lay down for a little bit and want this posted.

Here's the Mercedes We are looking at

and the Beemer............

Hi Bret. I'm OK. Very tired. Been working myself to exhaustion cleaning up the huge yard at my friends place so it looks good for sale. 7 hard hours of labor raking and trimming, and 4 power equipment hours. If I was getting paid, I would bill that out at $165. Unfortunately my neighbor says he has no money to pay me. I am dead tired but now have to walk his dog, and get the sprinklers going on the yard I just cleaned up.
I would be much better if I could magically come up with $1500 to pay the loan shark mortgage so I don't lose my home to foreclosure. But that is not in the cards, so I guess I have to prepare to live on the street. I don't know what I will do with all my possessions.

Ya work your whole life to get a pile of stuff.... then something "F"s up and ya loose it. I am afraid I can't imagine a lousy $1,500 in Canadian monopoly money causing such distress and foreclosure. Here in the USA that is pocket change. I got the blades all sharpened on all the mowers, greased, mounted and ready since the G D WIND is blowing 80 MPH here. It is a pleasant 71 and sunny just the G D wind knocks ya over. picking up limbs and sticks for a fire in the tree stump hole to burn out the roots more before I fill it in.
