REpurposed

Most of you have laundry chores to do as do I.

When I seen the "GAIN" laundry pouches you just toss in and forget I thought I'd give them a try. I really wasn't happy with the results and long since gone back to my regular detergent using the remaining packets on less important loads.

HOWEVER.... I did see promise in the empty container. It's interesting shape caused me to try and soak off the label in water... which failed to remove the adhesive. Enter good old GOOF OFF to remove the stubborn glue. I am thinking drilling drain and planting maybe some flowers in it. Just have to see what develops.

WHEN..... if ever... has your Doctor told you to eat more salt???? The Dr told me yesterday I needed to eat more salt... Grabbed Mc D's french fries on the way home.

Made baked potatoes to go with steaks and I loaded on the salt to my potato.

Tomorrow nurse comes to make sure I am still alive and change dressings on my leg. I have really curtailed my smoking... not quit but cut way back.

That Fling jug should make a very decorative planter. Good work on the re-purposing.

The picture of Granny with her scrub board and Jethro dipping water from the seement pond brought back old memories of the Beverly Hillbillies.

Yes, I agree. It is interesting that your Dr told you to increase your salt intake. I hope it makes a difference for you, my friend.

Good for you on cutting way back on smoking. See if you can completely eliminate cigarettes from your daily routine. It will help your body recover more quickly from the injuries.

I had a really busy day yester and again today. Really tired from all the hard manual labor. At my age it takes a big toll on my body and mind.

I always used salt sparingly when cooking here leaving it to the tastes of the one eating it.

This walker and hopping from room to room has my right leg worn out by the end of the day

I have found since I added the extra salt to my diet I have had fewer leg or foot cramps in the middle of the night.
