GOOD NEWS !  GOOD NEWS !!!  Our company left about 10 and I made it into my Dr's appointment by *11:30* They did a blood draw and my A1c was *5,8* |

Temp's dropping like a rock from 57 F down to 30 already.

It's always a happy dance when you as a diabetic are told that your A1c is 5.8. Most excellent work at controlling your blood sugar Darter. My last test was 6.2, I think, and I thought that was good.

Temp here is 21F, where it has been all day. It is foggy and we are supposed to get 15cm or 6" of snow over the next 24 hours. I am glad I went to town today so I don't have to drive in the snow tomorrow. I'll be home shovelling, maybe firing up the snowblower. I sold my car on kijiji yester, 28 minutes after my ad posted on the site. I should have asked for more money because the buyer never once questioned my price; just counted out the dollars and drove away smiling.
