BUTTERFINGERED \^!^,

I should have guessed at the breakfast table when the box of Rice Krispies escaped my grasp dumping across the table and onto the floor that I'd been given a pair of invisable Teflon gloves while I slept. The BUTTERFINGER plague continued when unloading the dishwasher...luckily.... unbreakable the silverware container slipped out of my fingers scattering across the floor. It didn't occur to me quite as yet worthy of a photograph.

Dinner planning began... I tried the Progresso Clam Sauce before but thought it needed some extras.

I slivered some carrot, then diced some onion and cabbage into a couple tablespoons of butter to stir fry. If you sliver your veggies I find they have a better chance of getting tangled up with the pasta!

That's when I reached into the cupboard to get the spaghett.. The end of the package had come open and across my shoulder rained down a spray of pasta to the floor...

Once again the Viking Beserker welled up and I wanted to smash something with a hammer.

I cooked the remaining 3/4 of a pound of pasta according to the directions draining it thoroughly before adding the Clam Sauce and an extra can of minced clams. To warm it up I stir fried it with my veggies. Not wanting to temp fate I had JD carry the pan to the table.

I am sorry you had a bad day. You are not alone. I have days like that too where everything I do ends in catastrophic failure, including spaghetti all over the floor. It is angering and frustrating at the time, but the next day I can't help but laugh about it.

At the end of the day, despite the odds stacked against you, you had prepared an excellent dinner. Oh, by the way, good plan to have JD carry the pan to the table.

It was another bitter cold day here, and it is -8F right now. Tomorrow promised to be slightly warmer, but with snow on and off all day.

This just became a snowballing plague.

I had him set the table too... the dishes can set there overnight for all I care.
