Demise.............  We'd lucked out weather wise for the first week of December in North Iowa with a high today of 52 F / *11C. We were able to get the solid new edge screwed to the existing roof for the drip cap to be held firmly in place. We now slide that slope into Winter. Saturday 39 F but by Monday a breezy day with a high of 28 °F (-2.2 °C) and a low of 16 °F (-8.9 °C).  |

It was dark here by the time we got the cords rolled up, tools put away, and ladders hung up but we met the day;s goals.

Glad you got the repair work done to the roof before the cold settles in. I've been working in my heated garage, so no worries about the cold.

I need to install a new coolant thermostat in the 2012 taxi van I am going to be driving so I can get some heat out of the heater. Don't have money to buy one at a cost of $30. It is a specialty item, not a standard type thermostat.

The chat room doesn't seem to be working tonight, so I'll be hanging around on uTube.

I'm afraid the only rain we're going to see already happened in late October although it was 18 hours of it

It's cloudy tonight with snow starting after midnight and continuing through Saturday. 2 to 4" accumulation. High temp Saturday of 28F. Sunday and Monday only 15F. Seems like we might be getting some winter.
