HOW MANY KNOW.....MAJOR UNNIKRISHNAN ? Today is the DAY... INDIA got a very precious s o n who presented his HIGHEST SACRIFICE on the feet of his INDIA to prove his Love for her. .. he was One Of The Heros of 2008 Terror Attack where he SAVED life of 1 4 hostages and got MARTYRED serving INDIA...... I am the Luckiest to met him personaly more than one occasion when he was in the '; National Deffence Academy ( NDA)' when he was a cadet as till today i am the Regular and Authorised visitor of NDA to use their Indore Shooting Range and felt very very Sad when i met his aged parents when they visited the NDA to visit his ROOM after that incidence. |

Sandeep Unnikrishnan was born on 15 March 1977
| ||
|
Sandeep was a Major in the Indian Army serving in the elite Special Action Group of the National Security Guards.
| ||
|
Sandeep joined the National Defence Academy ( (NDA), Pune, Maharashtra in 1995. He was a part of the Oscar Squadron (No. 4 Battalion). and I AM VERY CLOSELY RELATED to FOXTROT which is very Next to OSACAR.

|
Sandeep Unnikrishnan was the team commander of 51 Special Action Group (51 SAG) deployed in the operation at the hotel to rescue the hostages at the Time of That of Attack.
| ||
|
His team came under intense hostile fire, in which one of his team members got grievously injured.
| ||
|
Major Sandeep pinned down the terrorists with accurate fire and rescued the injured commando to safety.
| ||
|
And in that battle with Terrorists ....he was shot in his right arm. Despite his injuries, he continued to fight the terrorists till his last breath.
