The "matrix" of tradition

There is a huge difference between earthly tradition and the love of God.
To let family members compel one to worship the family is indeed a sin, even if done under a matrix of tradition. Are you being held back from what God wants you to do because of family? If so, you are likely being held back also from connecting with your TRUE heavenly family. Now because of the whims of your kin, you are not able to witness to another who may truly be "saved" unto Jesus and God. This is not just for benefit of the new convert, but also for YOUR benefit of being around your own kind.
Is one thing to honor father and mother, and yet another to worship the Father of Jesus.

So too, it is within us to escape the matrix of tradition just like Neo was able to escape the virtual reality physics engine in the popular movie. By subbing in Jesus for Morpheus lol we have the following...

Jesus rebuked his own mother, Mary, for insisting that Jesus provide more wine at a certain wedding.
-John 2 vs 2-4

Compare Mary Magdalene and Martha. One coveted that 'better part' of listening at Jesus' feet. The other was more worried about preparations at the supper table.
-Luke 10 vs 38-42

Here are some more Bible verses to consider...

Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
-Colossians 2 vs 8

But reject profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness.
-1 Timothy 4 vs 7

Thus says the Lord:
“Do not learn the way of the Gentiles; do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven,
For the Gentiles are dismayed at them.
3 For the customs of the peoples are futile; for one cuts a tree from the forest,
The work of the hands of the workman, with the ax.
4 They decorate it with silver and gold; they fasten it with nails and hammers
So that it will not topple.
5 They are upright, like a palm tree, and they cannot speak;
They must be carried, because they cannot go by themselves.
Do not be afraid of them, for they cannot do evil, nor can they do any good.”
-Jeremiah 10 vs 2-5

To this end, even the most well-meaning Christians do not have a single clue on what truly makes for righteousness.

Many are called but few are chosen.
Matthew 22 vs 14.

For the Hindu, there are many 'avatars; of God. If this is true, there are also many gods, which gives way for re-incarnation the same. Like Islam, this is nothing but tradition, and all evil.

Whoever picks this world will never be satisfied, since all are created in God's image. And whoever does not pick this world, will in fact be persecuted.

Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
-2 Timothy 3:12

And BTW, the reason that I am in FF is because a prophet is never accepted in his own house, country, etc. This includes the christian church believe it or not.
-Mark 6 vs 4

The scribes and pharisees rejected Jesus and John the Baptist all the same.

The question is...who can tell the difference between truth and tradition?

The image below IS indeed Jesus. I ought to know, as I have seen His coming as One were to cut through the very fabric of creation, rendering every evil work as to dust within the mere twinkling of an eye.

“Tradition is a prison with majority opinion the modern jailer.
-Henry S. Haskins
