A Poem..."Night Light"

At first, I was not going to post this poem because of it's darker character. But since FF is a reflection of the real world, which includes ALL of it's evils, I decided otherwise. It was written the same day as was "Tracks", an earlier posted poem here, and part of the same poetic short story of 12. Again, written about the affects of man's meddling which God allows for evil men to hang their own souls in judgement. It also figuratively represents what will be happening to the righteous people of the world, otherwise known as the Elect of God, or symbolically the Bride of Christ at the end of the world. “Night Light”

Looming on precarious evening lurches;
pressing in against all odds of festering heaps.
Haplessly huddling together on stranded perches;
hobbling from twig to branch in small leaps.

Green wood gone and brown wood down;
restless beaks receive broken worm-no haste.
Scratch and sniff--dogs of war on the ground.
What pigs don't eat, scraps of meat-no waste.

Blessed be the chick that wasn't born.
It was purple that turned the moon to blue.
Wetten the quick before they cheep and moan.
Novice the mercy as interns swoon at the view.

Planted and plucked, the night begins to fade.
Barely a fly and a morsel left to feed the brood.
Canted and pudge'd under sight of evening shade,
merrily we die for our parcel gift that seeds the new world.

2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,....
11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
--Matthew 22
