Monthly Poem-"Secrets to My Missing Rib"

My previous line of poetry (7 out of 12 poems total) will be put on pause if not ending altoghether, for the remaining are likely too special not to charge a price lol. Especially 1, 2, and 12. (is anyone hooked on my poetry yet?). The following poem was inspired by the next woman to present to me for the draw of love, yet also allowed the fear of man to dictate what does NOT make for her peace. This is the rule not the exception these days. She was four years older than me, with 2 young sons in tow. Just another reminder that age does not matter and that God can and will 'bring back his forsaken ones' (as it relates to divorce), at least if people get their sh*t together lol. So if any man tells a woman that she is not viable for lack of being a virgin, tell them to get lost! However lol, this poem serves as a "photo negative", as to citing dark matter to illuminate the better part of creation, which a righteous man will never settle for less. Secrets to My Missing Rib

Suppose it was the day before righteousness.
So then you would shine at night.
So then you would barely survive.
So then you would light a fire.
Suffice it to say the sun never rises.

Say you choose to pray for the light of blindness.
So then you would fight to die.
So then you would learn to fly.
So then you would forever lie.
Forces of pride in front but never behind us.

It seems you go out of in the middle against us.
So then you are never left and never right.
So then you are kept just out of sight.
So then you are gray in black and white.
Swing low for the that second guesses.

Be that it may a veil so bare and threadless.
So then you would lay with a man benign.
So then you would belie the great divide.
So then excuse the passion without a crime.
See what takes away, yet see what always blessed us.

Suppose the way between was timeless.
So then you would be so kind.
So then you would be so fine.
So then you would always be mine.
Suffice it to say, your secret side is rhymeless;-”I”.

The End

A missing rib or a thorn in his side?
