History confirms the Holy Bible; Fall of the Roman Empire part 6 of 6 The last blog on the subject saw the followers of Islam under the Ottomans, through a period of 150 years (or 5 prophetic months), fall short of capturing the Eastern seat of Constantinople through AD 1449. Only with eventual approbation from the Turkish sultan, Constantine XI Palaiologos became the last Roman/Byzantine emperor in AD 1449. However, such a submission would yet open the flood gates for an attack when Mohemet II ascended the Ottoman throne in AD 1451. The seige and fall of the city came in AD 1453, killing Constantine X1 in the battle. Gun powder and cannon had been developed at that time as well. The Ottoman Empire would last exactly 150+391 years and 15 days, as recorded in history, from the first attack on the Greek on July 27, 1299 to August 11, 1840 when the sultan forwarded (thus forced to accept) the ultimatum from the London Covention (July 15, 1840) to Mehemet Ali , pasha of Egypt, the two being engaged in war over the Levant. Turkey would still be allowed self rule, but compelled to give up territories same, versus fear from the major Eurpean powers if Turkey were to destabilize. (Note- Western Powers of today are intent on doing just the oppsite in the middle east). Even though the Ottoman Caliphate would last until Nov 1922, it would only exist via European channels. These events fall under the 6th Trumpet. Revelation 9 Verse 12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter. 13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. Four angels=Four principle Sultanies at Aleppo, Iconium, Damascus, Bagdad. Euprates (no longer bound to that region). Prophetic day=24th part of a year=15 days Prophetic month=30 days=30 years Prophetic year=360 days=360 years Verse 16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. An innumerable and loud horde of horses/men. Verse 17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. Ottoman uniforms=red/scarlet (fire), blue (hyacinth or jacinth), yellow (brimstone). Gunpowder/cannon=fire, smoke, brimstone. Verse 18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. 19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tailswere like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. Verse 20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. ^^^A bit of a hint for those apostate christians that fail to get the message even after God allows punishements or scourges against those before them.    |
