Vested chat or passive chat?<That is the question
Most chatters engage either in vested chat or passive chat, depending on their take on whom they are chatting with. Since there will always be chatters at enmity with other chatters, how can one tell which is which? Should they not just use the iggy? Yet there is a saying, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer". Does this apply to FF??? This can be easily answered even as I myself know at least one chatter who does such passive chat with another, yet will end up saying in private, that the other chatter is using other handle(s) for deceitful purposes. I will not say who, what or when, suffice it to say the fact that such passive-aggressive chat is being used indeed. Having said that, who are the chatters that take you seriously, the ones who are just 'walking the dog', or the ones who are just propping you up? What is the risk of not caring? I hope things are indeed what you think they are in your own chat at any rate.
