Penitent trolls in the Bible: Job's accusers The book of Job tells the story of God allowing Satan to greatly afflict righteous Job, in order to see weather or not Job's faith and righteousness would fail under the pressure. Thus God allowed Satan to take away all of Job's many possessions of cattle as well as his own 11 , and then afflicted his body with sores as well. Right off the bat, Job's wife told him to 'curse God and die'. Job's so-called 3 friends, Bildad, Eliphaz, and Zophar then accuse him of being evil for such calamity to befall him. Such accusations are also made indirectly against his who had nothing to do with anything. There is also a 4th individual Elihu who is just a louder echo of the other 3 accusers. As it goes, Job stands his ground and is restored many times more than his original status. God rebukes the accusers who end up repenting just the same. God says when people sin, there must be at least two witnesses to bear on the issue, or 3 if possible. Yet never was there any concrete witness here to Job actually sinning by any of his friends. This seems to be a habit with those in FF who accuse and abuse without a reason. An open list of such abusers will be up and coming, complete with explanations. Is too bad I don't believe a single one will be penitent like Job's friends. |

Job 1 9 So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 10 Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. 11 But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!” Rev 12 10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

Bildad, Eliphaz, Zophar and Elihu will all rise up against them in judgement. Amen.
