Women Saints; true warriors
This post is a tribute to the women spiritual warriors and their unseen battles and you know who you are.
Athena was known in Greek mythology as the Goddess of wisdom, handicraft, and warfare.

And yet another story: Ruth. She was the of Naomi who refused to leave her mother's side, even when facing famine and hopeless odds of making a new life in a new land. Because of such persistence, Ruth would bare a named Obed who was the father of Jesse who was the father of King David. David's line of course ascended down to Joseph who married the virgin Mary.

And other good stuff from the holy bible:

Proverbs 4:
6 Do not forsake her[wisdom], and she will preserve you;
Love her, and she will keep you.
7 Wisdom is the principal thing;
Therefore get wisdom.
And in all your getting, get understanding.
8 Exalt her, and she will promote you;
She will bring you honor, when you embrace her.
9 She will place on your head an ornament of grace;
A crown of glory she will deliver to you.”

Ephesians 6:
10 Finally, be strengthened in the Lord and in the strength of his power.
11 Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.
13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints
