....why India should be worried about the Pakistani tunnel at J&K border .....

The BSF on Friday lodged a protest with Pakistan over a cross-border tunnel along the international border in RS Pura sector of Jammu district. The BSF had on Thursday found the 30-metre-long well-constructed tunnel about 10 feet below the ground.

Why is it significant?

1. The BSF says the tunnel was dug for a major terror attack. "The tunnel even bypassed the three-tier fencing beneath the agriculture field and was designed exclusively for infiltration. A big terrorist attack was being planned," BSF IG Rakesh Sharma said.

2. Army and police installations along the Jammu-Pathankot national highway have been the main target of terrorists in Samba and Kathua districts for some years now.

3. During the terror attack at the Pathankot air base in January this year, more than six security personnel were killed in an attack by Jaish terrorists.

4. Terrorists arrested have in the past talked about tunnels being used for infiltration.

How was it found?

The BSF's earth moving machines was pressed into action after reports of terrorist movement on the Pakistani side of the border. A 'fox cavity' is detected and further digging revealed the tunnel.

What happened after the discovery?

1. A flag meeting was called with the Pakistan Rangers.

2. Rangers claim the site of the tunnel a 'disputed area' but BSF insists that the wild growth be cleared right up to the zero line. That is when the entire tunnel on the Indian side is detected.

3. Rangers have been asked to join investigation. They have said they'll 'take action'.

The problem with the estd. off Pakistan that it is their state policy doctrine after the terrible defeat faced by them at the hands of India during the 1971 liberation and the creation of Bangla Desh
that they will always be at their dirty tricks.

I feel along with my friends here feel confident that India will always overcome such thorns with grit and determination and sooner then later Pakistan will realize the futility as such.
Pray better sence prevails in Pakistan.
