Where's the pepper? A Bolivian hotel called Palacio de Sal was made with 1m blocks of salt – and everything in the hotel - from the walls and floors to the beds and tables - was carved out of salt. The project took 2 years to complete, while it may sound somewhat stark, the hotel offers every comfort travelers may need, such as saunas, steam rooms and saltwater baths. However, there are strict rules, such as "don't lick the walls". Have a good weekend my friends! |

When you say everything in the hotel, does it include the plumbing too? Would be nice to be in the hotel enjoying a not so ripe mango. You take a swipe at the nearest wall with it and then take your next bite.

Hi Kavitah, it says the bathrooms are built inside the rooms.
