I like my work, like my volunteer projects, like most people, and am pretty content with my life. I have to admit, tho, that adding some of that excitement that gets me racing to the computer/phone/mailbox wouldn't be so bad. I'm 59, short, fat (well, kinda fat), ride my bike to work most days, have started strength training with weights, am known as a really good cook and for my sense of humor. I grew up in WV, earned my degree there, then moved to Idaho and found my home. I'm learning more about opera, have been very active as fundraiser/board member of our regional theatre, am politically liberal, and I have every reason to think that tomorrow will be even better than today. I gave up smoking long ago and don't always finish the whole glass of wine if I order with dinner. Hmm...guess I'll wait to tell more. Let's talk about positive things or about positive ways to combat negative things. I'm not at all religious, but I believe in the power of humans to survive.
