I'm originally from Wisconsin, where Midwest values still exist. A handshake means something, and your word is your word. Where women take good care of their men, and love them [B]unconditionally[/B]. Monogamy, and devotion are practiced daily. :x We never go to bed angry, and we always smile away the pain. I was raised to treat people with respect; as I would want to be treated. Dignity, and integrity are words that mean alot to me... Music is my career. I am a professional musician. Unfortunately, I guess my career comes with a stereo-type... I am here to say that [U]I DO NOT[/U] fit that. My job is no different than anyone else's. I go to work and I come home. I love to hunt, fish, and camp (when I have time) sometimes I am on the road, but I'm always the first one to call and let everyone know that I am alright, and thinking about them... [B]I am clean and sober, and I work a program..[/B]. it sure would be neat if I could get a travel partner once in a while, but we all have jobs and responsibilities.
My Ideal Person
Someone who likes to cook as well as eat, I love to cook. Slow walks around just to look at things, thounderstorms, hot tea, snuggling and candles.... someone who likes to be held, and have thier hair stroked when they're sick, or even when they are not... and be waited on...to have a cool washcloth on thier face when they hurt and don't feel well, to be massaged when they hurt, I don't do these things to score points; I do these things because....(are you ready for this?) BECAUSE I WANT TO! I am looking for someone who loves life, loves children, and is not afraid to laugh at themselves. Someone who still believes in romance, and wants to be romanced....doing nice things for people... Helping others and caring, and not racist in any way. Someone who wants to be treated with respect, dignity, and always wants a good person to listen to them when they need it. Someone who wants a positive environment; I don't believe in negatives. There is NO negative where I come from. I have no ego, and I do not get jealous. Jealousy, negativity, violence, racism, and just plain ignorance is NOT tolerated by me.

Casual mostly... I mean I don't look like a "schlemiel" when I go out (with someone, or alone) I do my hair and a little make-up, I mean if I'm running to the store for you and you need something right away, I'm going in my fricken pajamas and bunny slippers.... but if theres no time limit, I like to look decent. When I'm on stage that's a whole different animal.... I have to take the time to get everything right because the stage lights are not merciful....
