Hi there! It's hard to know what others want to know, so here goes...
My name is Mistie. I'm a professional SWF living in Mississippi. I have long brown hair with (natural) blonde/red streaks, I'm about 5'6", and I have green eyes that sometimes appear brown, gray, or blue. Currently, I'm a doctoral candidate working on my PhD in Counselor Education. I'm also working full time as a /adolescent therapist based in the schools.
I really love my job, though at times it's extremely hard and stressful. But there are definitely some benefits to working with the .
I don't have much free time between work and school, but when I do, I love watching DVD's, giving my Max (he's a Yorkie) some attention, and spending time with my family and friends. I'm a big fan of the Atlanta Braves (notwithstanding their unexplainable losing streaks from time to time), I love swimming, snorkeling, and just spending time outside. I enjoy playing softball with my nieces, but sometimes I have to wonder if all of the bruises (mine) are worth it! I love to travel, and until I started grad school, I would spend a few weeks every summer in Jamaica with my parents. I also just love kicking back and relaxing with a good book or sitting in front of a fireplace just to think. I value my family and friends, my life, and I try my best to be a good person.
I'm fairly laid back. I'm intelligent, educated, and independent. I'm easy going, love to laugh, and I have a good sense of humor, though I've been known to be a bit sarcastic from time to time. I can also be really intense, especially when it comes to my work. I'm
extremely patient, understanding, and willing to give anyone at least one chance. I know what I want out of life, I know how to get there, and I'm willing to do what it takes to get there. I'm very adaptable; I can enjoy doing just about anything. I'm also just as
comfortable walking through the woods in a pair of jeans and sneakers as I am all dressed up at a dinner party complete with caviar (though I don't like the caviar, I have to admit).

My Ideal Person
What Im looking for...well, theres no cookie cutter description of a person that I can just pinpoint. Everyone is unique and special in their own way with their own qualities to offer. Even if someone is somewhat lacking in one area that I may prefer, chances are, they can more than make up for it in other areas, so Im hesitant to go into much detail
here. However, I will say that Im looking for someone who is willing to be friends first and then see what happens.
Other qualities I value in a man are being easy going, kind, educated, motivated, patient, strong but sensitive, and understanding. Id like to meet someone who has a great sense of humor and can laugh at themselves. Someone who is laid back and loves to have fun, someone who is HONEST, and who has goals in life. I want to meet someone who values family and friends and loves life. The man Im looking for needs me in his life, but wont die if Im not. I want him to be my partner and go through life with me, not in front of or behind me.
