I've tried to figure out what I want out of a relationship, be it friend or otherwise. I think I've finally nailed it. I am honest, and I expect honesty, not neccessarily brutal honesty, but I believe that lying is one of the worst characteristcs possible. I don't think that you have to be a cookie cutter in order to get along, so long as you respect each others differences, whether they be opinions or otherwise. I expect that the people in my life will respect me enough to tell me if they think that I am making a mistake, but step back and let me make my own decisions. I cannot tolerate someone who "needs" to drink. Drinking occasionaly in a social atmosphere is fine, but a constant need to get drunk is scary. I expect that every relationship is about give and take, and that it will be a 50/50 situation. In the past I've fallen victim to the give side, and forgotten that I deserved anything in return. Humor is very important. I'm not looking for a stand up comic, always on the spot. But laughter really is the best medicine, and it really helps. I'm trying to re-capture my "on-the-fly" nature of my youth, so I'm taking a leap here. I am not an organized religion type of girl. I prefer to find a connection with nature and people rather than a building and a book. this does not mean that i have no morals or beliefs, just that they are different than societies in general. I have very strong convictions which i stand behind and defend. I am a loyal friend to the end and I defend my friends with everything in me. I am a strong, independant woman not looking to change, but looking for someone to compliment my per.
My Ideal Person
I am looking for the same things most people are looking for. a person to whom I can connect, someone to make me laugh. I am not looking for a rocket scientist, but there has to be enough there to hold a conversation. I don't need someone who agrees with everything I say, or thinks the same way I do, but someone with an open mind to accept me for me. I want an honest person, who is looking to meet someone to build a friendship that could possibly transcend to something else.

Tell us about your personal style and why it works for you. Casual and comfy? Sharp and professional?: I care not for trends, I wear what I like, what is comfortable. I don't care if the person next to me doesn't like it, cuz they aren't me. I love the peasant-like flirty blouses and flouncy skirts. I am a nut for sandals.
