I'm 55 years old. My husband died 13 years ago leaving me to raise our who was 6 years old at the time. I put all my energy into raising her and my job teaching. Now, she is college and it is time that I make a life for myself. I have been teaching for 33 years and still love what I do. Last year, I was diagnosed with breat cancer and when through chemo and radiation treatments. It made me realize that life is precious and each day should be lived as though there were no tomorrow. During my ordeal, I didn't miss a day of school and remained actively involved in our teacher's association and school wide committees. I like to travel, workout, go to the theater, dine out, walk and read. I'm a fairly good cook.

My Ideal Person
I am looking for companionship. Someone who is upbeat and enjoys life. A person who likes to go to the movies, museums,the theater, and Who likes to visit parks and the beach in summer, and likes to sit in front of a cozy fire talking.
