Who am I? I am honest, affectionate, adventurous, easygoing, romantic, sensitive, spontaneous, confident, and a little bit on the mischievous side people loving woman. I am open and receptive to new ideas and experiences. I have a good sense of humor and love to laugh. I enjoy being around and meeting new people from all walks of life. I have a very positive attitude & enjoy the company of other positive forces. I love the simple things in life, long walks, holding hands, lying on a quilt in the middle of a large open field…looking at the stars and listening to the creatures of the night, walking along the beach barefooted and taking a midnight skinny dip…rising before the sun…to see it rise. I love to travel, cook, garden, rainy Sunday mornings reading the funnies together with a great cup of coffee. I love to read poetry and am intrigued by those talented enough to write. I enjoy shopping antique/flea markets, going out to movies, comedy clubs, concerts, Nascar/car racing events, and amusement parks.
I have 4 grown children, all out on their own...(empty nest mom) & 1 beautiful granddaughter. They are a very important part of my life. I have basically raised my children on my own most of their lives. I have great respect for single parents. I admire men that are single fathers…it is tough as a mother…,but I’m sure it’s even tougher as a father, but it seems to make them better people…in my opinion.
I'm also a big animal lover, I have 2 dogs and 4 cats. (outdoors creatures only). I was raised on a farm & appreciate the country life, as I have lived in the city & am now back home in the country.
My Ideal Person:
I would like to meet an intelligent man who has compassion for his fellow man and a passion for life. One that knows how to relax, laugh and have fun, with a sense of adventure that enjoys life and wants someone special to share it with, one who is confident, but not arrogant. He would rescue small animals, but hugs like a bear, honors a promise, remembers small things always count, sneaks me a wink or two, understands the word sorry and can use it, sees beauty in a snowflake, is without question loyal and trustworthy (scouts honor!), whispers my name, would feel comforted in sharing his secrets and fears, can make me melt with his kisses, is honest and communicates all feeling and thoughts, respects HIM and all HIS creations, respects ME and all my critters, would pick me wildflowers, admires my opinions and thoughts,can make me double over in laughter, reads a map, dances with me in the moonlight. Can cook or at least try …would protect loved ones from harm, has 2 helping hands and likes using them, can laugh at himself or with me at myself, allows tears to fall freely, is motivated, thoughtful, big hearted, humorous, poetic, spontaneous, opens his heart to receive, loves me to hold his hand anywhere/anytime, wishes upon a star … is honest to a fault, knows when a woman needs a gentleman, would share 'sweet nothings' in my ear (even at his Mother's dinner table), values his family-&-friends, befriends a humble soul,encourages me to save water by sharing the tub, adores the attention I shower him with, is tender yet masculine, fears only unknown evil,expresses his passion, devours my passion, can read my sign language, knows my body language, listens with all his heart when my world crumbles beneath me, encourages me, and can't wait to share his life with me....but ABOVE ALL keeps trying to be better than HE IS because he isn't a finished man. I would offer this 'real man' all these things and more....I am constantly working on this 'real woman', to be more than SHE IS daily. I dream of one day sharing my heart completely with this very special man. The one that will compliment the complete me is my best friend! Are you the one?
