I am a Mother to three , I am 32 years old, single for almost 8 years, a full time Dispatcher & Corrections Officer at a PD in Northern Alabama. I have held an Alabama Basic-EMT license and completed the Intermediate-EMT course, Been a First Responder for over 9 years, volunteered with Fire Departments for more than six years and volunteered as a Reserve Police Officer.
Hobbies. Hmm. Well, I enjoy many things such as horseback riding, traveling, tennis, volleyball, skating (roller skates and yes I am getting old, lol), reading historical and/or sensual novels and writing the same, I also enjoy writing poetry when I have time. I love moonlit walks on the beach, long talks before a fireplace, country cabins in the mountains, nature walks. There are just so many hobbies, if you have one not listed here, ask and I shall tell you if I like it or not.
On a date. Well, I suppose it would depend on the person I am with and our mutual likes and dislikes. A nice dinner with a quiet setting so that we could talk and get to know each other a bit better would be nice. If alcohol is involved, it would only be one, no more than two small drinks. I do not get drunk, and if you do on our date, you will be left. Once dinner is finished, perhaps a walk in a park or a nice movie. I expect courtesy and respect. I am looking for someone that I can enjoy spending time with. Whether it is out on a romantic dinner or if we are going out to a football game. To have someone to talk to just to talk would actually be nice. No expectations, just take friendship and if anything else forms from it, fine, if not, that's fine too.
My Ideal Person
If you are looking for an extra-marital affair then move on. I am not the person for you. I am looking for someone to spend time with. A friend that I can talk to when lonely. I am looking for something that will turn into a relationship if all goes well. I have been alone for too many years and have not had time to apply to dating due to my career. I know that a relationship will not be made within a short time or even sometimes within several years. What would you do on an ideal date?:
Dinner at a fancy restaurant, slow dancing and a moonlit walk on the beach., Jetting off to Paris to have dinner at the top of the Eiffel Tower as the sunsets.
Tell us about your personal style and why it works for you. Casual and comfy? Sharp and professional?:
Mostly, I prefer casual and comfy for around the house. If I am actually going out say, to town, I prefer to dress up a bit. I suppose the best way to describe it is a preppy style. Dress slacks, nice top. Sometimes panty-hose and dress shoes, sometimes flats with no socks. Depends on my mood.
