I live in Upstate NY with my four (Yes four) cats. I am finishing up college and will be going on to earn my teaching degree. We are coming on to my favorite time of the year and I want some real romance in it. Perhaps to last into old age? I have a goofy streak and my tastes are eclectic in music and movies. I do not like country or much . It tends to be way too negative and just plain stupid. My brain has other things to do than waste time with that garbage. I am tenderhearted but have a wicked temper...if the correct buttons are pushed. Then again, who doesn't? I am searching for a longterm relationship/love of my life and marriage. Someone grown up enough to take it to the next level and not push me away because he's too scared and selfish to start a life and a family.Of course he's not so grown up that he cannot hear the laugher of his inner ! When was the last time you went sledding? Grab your snow pants and let's go!
My Ideal Person
I am in Glens Falls but there wasn't a choice for that. I want to stick with guys in my area but there are no nice guys around here. They all judge with shallow hearts. There HAS to be at least one man out there who is not hopelessly impressed with the wealth and things someone has collected in their life. There has to be someone who is genuine and has integrity. Someone who is aware of and celebrates the silliness inside of himself. Someone who listens as the geese fly south or someone who gets excited for that snowstorm. Not to go skiing but to just walk in and maybe he wishes that he had someone (hint...like me!) to walk along with him. Someone who isn t so stuck on himself and material gain that he's forgotten how to be a decent loving kind person who can give as well as accept love. Someone who has a good job, is educated and articulate and wants a family someday soon. Someone who works to live and not lives to work. Where do I fit in that guy's life? I want to find my best friend, my companion, confidant, lover and partner. He should be a NON SMOKER, A social drinker, Not a slave to sports or his job, D & D free, with NO children but wants to start a family some day. A man who is wildly passionate and romantic. I don't date or purposely befriend smokers. I won't waver on that. I also don't date guys who already have children. I want to start our relationship on the same level. I have no children but I want one or two. I don't want to sit in the car on a chilly winter's evening kissing a great guy who's actually wondering if his child is okay. I want all his attention on me and on us. Don't get me wrong! I admire single parents and single dad's make lots of sacrifices for their children, I just don't want to be one of those sacrifices. I think single moms and single dads make better matches for each other because they get each other better than single people would get them.
What would you do on an ideal date?:
Dinner at a fancy restaurant, slow dancing and a moonlit walk on the beach.
