I am looking for someone who likes to start out slow, friends first with eventually developing into more if we mutually agree. I also am looking for friends, both local and distant, and both male and female (no, I am not bi, just friendly).
I am a tall, active, 56 y.o.woman, with golden brown hair, green eyes w/glasses, who is told she looks and acts younger than her age. I enjoy long walks, music, especially the blues, theatre/cinema, arts, sports, reading, swimming, canoeing; plus snowshoeing in the winter. I enjoy laughing, so a tall gentleman with a good sense of humor will score big points with me. One who is as honest as possible, I know that we all tell lies at times, we can't help it, it is human nature, but I want someone who is as truthful as possible to himself and to me. Integrity is the word I am looking for. One who has similar likes/tastes as I have, so we can share these things, but also diverse enough to try new things, as I am also. Plus, we do not need to be together every minute of the day. So, if any of this sounds like you.........let me know.....lol.
UPDATE: I enjoy helping others and in Sept 2009, I will be moving "up north" to be nearer my parents to help out more with them. Hope to connect with some old and some new friends.
