Are you looking for a new special friend? Friendship is very important to me and I have a big heart and soul to share with someone special. I am a very nurturing and trusting person and when I care for someone, I care deeply and sincerely. I am a firm believer in mutual respect, trust and understanding. I have, however, no one to share these feelings and emotions with at the moment. I have a compassionate soul, a warm heart and a caring, gentle touch and I am lucky to also be able to use and share theses qualities in my work, which is one of my greatest passions in life. I am a midwife and one of my greatest joys is to help young families bring new life into the world. I love my work! I enjoy being a care giver, a teacher and a mothering figure all in one. I am also currently going back to school full time to complete a degree in biology and when I'm done with that, I plan to go back to nursing school. I like school and take pride in doing well. Another one of my passions is being a mother and my are my pride and joy. All but my youngest (twin girls who are 12) are pretty much grown up and they live most of the time with their father but I try my best to spend as much time with them as often as I can. I do not have many hobbies, as my work and school consume so much of my time and I am blessed with a career that I enjoy so much, but I also like to have fun! I love sharing quiet moments together, having long conversations, going to see a movie, listening to music (I love music especially classical, jazz and "oldies") having a glass of wine with friends or enjoying a margarita together - nothing fancy. I am a very simple person (low-maintenamce, as my friends call me) and I am not used to the extravagant lifestyle. I am very down to earth and hope to meet someone who would like to enjoy the simple, but happy things life has to offer us. I hope you think you could be that special someone I am looking for. We will then see where our newborn friendship grows from here...
My Ideal Person
I am hoping that I will still have another chance to find someone to share a special friendship. He needs to be romantic, full of passion, have a soft touch, be caring, loving, understanding and respect me, as I will him. I am not a wild party type nor a big thrill seeker, so I hope he is one who can enjoy the simpler things in life with me and enjoy spending quality time with me. I will make every effort to make a lot of time for him if he also respects my work and understands why it is so important to me. It can be hard for a man to understand that on occasion, I may be called away when it isn't exactly "convenient". He needs to love hugs! I love hugs - lots of them! I'd like for him to be family-oriented. I am especially looking for someone who will not take advantage of my caring heart and trusting soul. I have been very hurt before and I do not want to go down that road again. I am NOT looking for one night stands! I will NOT be his "other woman" either. I want a man who will want to be with me and love me and support me as I will him. He does not have to show off for me with fancy cars, motorcycles or have an athletic trophy on every shelf, but I do want someone who is secure in his life and goals. I do not care if he has the perfect body - a little cuddle fluff is not so bad - or if he has graying hair. I'd really prefer a mature man in his forties - not too much older than me and not too much younger. That sounds wonderful to me. Tall or a little on the shorter side, it does not matter.
