I am a widowed, laid back, easygoing legal secretary who is looking to go on with her life after a setback. I'm a good listener, like to dance, have fun and laugh. I sing in two choirs and am very active in church. Music is very important in my life. I am also very much interested in the physical side of a relationship. I like to go sightseeing, out to eat, to movies or sporting events. I do not like to cook but don't mind cleaning up after someone else does. I am very much a sports fan; I love to watch NFL football, the Astros, the Aeros, and hope to watch the Texans, although I am a lifelong Dallas Cowboy fan, having been raised in the Panhandle of Texas and the Cowboys were all we got. I can be serious if necessary, but my motto is don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small.
My Ideal Person
I am looking for someone to hopefully spend the rest of my life with. I don't mind being by myself sometimes, but it is really nice to have someone to come home to. I want a man who likes music and can dance (or would be willing to learn), is sensitive, compassionate, and a good listener and can be a family leader without being a controller. I'm looking for a partner, not a boss. He should also like to have family around at times, but is also a cuddler at the right time. I love to watch sports on TV and would like to have a man who also like sports on TV.
What would you do on an ideal date?: All of the above would be great!
What factors are most important to you when looking for someone?: Upbringing
What words best describe your personality?: Outgoing, Intelligent, Glass half full, Funny and silly, Realist
What animal best describes your personality?: Dog
Tell us about your personal style and why it works for you. Casual and comfy? Sharp and professional?: I like to dress casual; however, as a legal secretary, we can only dress casual one day a week. But I tend to wear pantsuits rather than hose and heels and dresses. I am more comfortable with casual clothes on, however I do dress up to go to church every Sunday
