I'm a 30 year old newlywed- just moved to Montana and am kind of starting my life over. I miss my friends from California, and am just hoping to make some connections with others also seeking intellectual stimulation.
I like to converse about anything and everything- your life, my life, kid stuff, spouse stuff, step-parenting and blended families, dating stories (I dated a lot in that jungle we call So-Cal until I met my husband!), or anything that is on your mind!
Interests: I'm trained as a scientist (genetics), but now am teaching and working on a M.Ed. I love people, animals, and children. I keep and breed small parrots, am a semi-avid reader, enjoy tinkering in the garden and in the kitchen, and more. But most importantly, I am a lifelong learner, and am always interested in hearing what is on other people's minds and sharing and such.
The sports section cuts me off, so here it is, as promised... I like to WATCH football, golf, and tennis (in that order). I have never PLAYED any sports, but to like to play ping pong (I'm ok) and badminton (I suck) with the kids. For outdoorsy-ness, I like walking, hiking and gardening. But being a California girl, I go to the gym for exercise. (It seems everyone went there but no one goes here!)
