I am NOT a party girl. I'm just a really relaxed person who likes trying new things, going to movies, trying new foods, and reading. I love last minute events, spur-of-the-moment trips, and traveling! I'm a little bit of a an introvert. I can stand being alone but I do also crave social situations. I can handle a small party of close friends... but honestly I hate clubs. I like to drink sometimes at a sports bar with family or friends but I don't like the chaos or drama of huge gatherings of people I don't know. I'm a little nutty sometimes and if I've had too much caffeine you might not be able to get me to shut up. I get easily distracted by my favorite songs and bookstores calm me. I love the beach on stormy days and I LOVE small college towns with little shops. I love the sound of the wind in the trees... the pitter-patter of the rain on my car... the way it smells when it rains like it's washing the earth clean... I LOVE windchimes. And I really love the smell of used bookstores... that dusty, damp smell. I love the feel of a book in the back pocket of my jeans. I currently work at a hospital while I'm going to school. I'm majoring in English, both the literature and creative writing tracks. I'd like to teach at a college or university someday so I have a lot of school to go through, and I'd really like the chance to study abroad in Paris. And I also live with my parents. They're wonderfully supportive and understanding of how difficult it is to live on your own while trying to go to school. I'm not embarrassed about it but I know it puts some people off. I'm really good at getting completely lost when on my own and driving, being extremely gulible, becoming easily confused, singing badly, guitar hero on medium, watching movies, getting overly excited when going somewhere fun, being too nice, laughing, and buying books.
