I am Lori! Nice to meet you, whoever you are? LOL maybe I will find out if you message me. I have made a few good friends on here even though some don't believe that is possible.(Me for one) I love meeting new people and since I grew up all over the U.S. I seem to have a lot in common with a diverse group of people. So, don't be shy (I say that knowing I am at first too) message me and who knows if nothing else a great friendship may develop. And when one night there is nothing going on or not anything to do..we can call on a friend to hang out with! See, there is a positive in everything!
I am warmhearted and caring person,independent, honest to a fault, so I just don't say what someone wants to hear. I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh. I can find good out almost any situation. I am shy at first until I get to know you.I am very much a people person. My children, family and close friends mean the world to me. I love my kids and enjoy being with them, they make me laugh and believe it or not I learn new things from them everyday.
I don't think anybody ever finds exactly what they're looking for in person or should I say partner. I think you just have to find someone who shares similar ideas, morals and values about life. I'm looking for someone who knows and understands what a committed relationship means. Someone who is honest,loyal, truthful, dependable, and faithful to me and our relationship. Someone that puts in to a relationship what they expect to get out of it. A person who enjoys each others company. A relationship is not supposed be hard work. It just happens. Not to say that there isn't times when things need to be worked out or talked about. Communication is a key factor in any relationship. A relationship really starts when you realize that person has become your best friend. A person you want to talk to everyday even if you have no reason to call, a person you don't have to worry about thinking you are stupid for crying, getting stressed out over little things or just plain making a dumb mistake. I am not looking for someone to support me I do that very well on my own. I have a good job, my own car and home.
I think life is not about what you do or where you go, it's who you spend it with that makes all the difference in the world. No one can deny physical attraction does play a role in finding a partner, but chemistry between two people is a lot more than physical attraction. People may not think that while looking at pictures on this site. Not everyone is photogenic..me for one, that is why I am always taking the pictures. If you think about it the people you meet as friends you don't think about how beautiful or handsome you expect them to be, and you sometimes you end up being best friends.
