Unless you really love and respect all animals and Nature, you needn’t waste your time here. I know that is rather blunt, but I know what I am looking for and I know that I can only be around someone who is that way.
I am not looking to dive into anything full speed. I believe in friendships first and then see how it goes. If you don’t have the patience for this, then you do not need to waste your time here. I have jumped quickly too many times in the past and it led to spoils. I am looking for a quality relationship and those don’t usually happen “over night.” I am looking for a person that I just LOVE being around. The chemistry of the depth of our understanding of each other carries over into energy that we both feel without even having to touch. Don’t laugh, I have experienced this before and I know it exists. I am not saying I do not want the romantic physical relationship…but it is NOT the concrete that holds the bricks together. If the other is not there first, the physical will eventually fizzle and die. So many people miss the boat on this.
So, who am I? I am a down to earth but playful person who loves humor and believes in laughter. I also have a very deep and serious side. I like and appreciate both simplicity and extravagance. Many things interest me. I love animals and all of Nature. Some things I enjoy are gardening, walking, reading, exploring the Internet, collecting various things, music, the mountains, day trips, weekend trips, cultural outings, good movies, and good coffee. I do write a bit in the poetry area. I am a fair DIY person. I love to do various house projects myself. I tend to be a bit "spirited" at times and enjoy/must have, my "quiet time," … and humor and laughter.  I work in the Environmental arena. I live in a townhouse and I have cats, three of which are feral cats that I caught and tamed. I like dogs, too, but no room in my house for those right now. It does not take much to make me happy. I am the type of person to pause to feel the wind on my face and in my hair. I love to watch snow falling. I love driving up to the mountains at night when there is a full moon…especially a Harvest moon and listen to the water coming off the mountain in small waterfalls all along the way. I am also a “glass half full” type person. I try to always focus on positive things…no matter how small.
