I am an uncompromising optimist, my glass is always almost full and life is a wonderful place of delightful humor. My favorite state of mind is with a smile on my lips and a laugh bubbling under the surface. My favorite source of comedy is myself; i often feel like I'm Lucille Ball, always bumping into things and getting myself into little pickles.
I don't like sitting in front of a tv all Saturday watching sports, but if you want to do that, no problem, just don't expect me to sit there with you. Maybe for one game, but not all day! You'll find me at the pool, reading a book, at the movies, shopping, even cleaning house or working in the yard, perfectly content.
I like a gentleman that opens doors and allows the lady to walk ahead. I've found that the majority of the men i date do this as second nature, but but every now and then I'll come across a man that treats me more like a buddy then his date and it is quite the turn off. Don't get me wrong, I am capable of opening my own doors - but it's that manly instinct to protect and nurture that is attractive to me.
I love the water and everything associated with it. I love the sunshine. I like the snow as long as there is a fireplace somewhere nearby lol I love the theatre, reading, movies, dancing, canoeing, rafting, walks, entertaining, cards, board games, sunsets, thrills, driving fast, convertibles, great conversation, good food, red wine, and good friends.
I love excitement and surprises. I have been skydiving and bungy jumping. I can pack and catch a plane in a heartbeat! I work hard, play hard and love passionately. I am independent and fiercely loyal. I am looking for romance. I am spontaneous, and will try anything once. I am giving and compromising but can also be firm in my resolve. I do not like being taken advantage of but am generous. I love to go places and also enjoy staying home. I am willing to take chances and am a bit impatient. I am goal driven and focused. I love life!
I believe in God but do not attend church. I praise and thank Him daily in my everyday life.
I am looking for someone with whom to share life's journey, to talk to daily, someone to share those little tidbits of daily life. I am complete as i am, but would love the enhancement of a mate. I am uncompromising in this area, i prefer a lifetime of solitude to a day with the wrong person. I do not associate with negative people. I believe in the power of attraction and that we bring everything into our lives through our thoughts and the types of energy with which we associate ourselves.
I enjoy the finer things in life as well as the simple ones! I'm happy in heels at dinner party and equally happy in shorts and sandels with a fishing pole. I especially enjoy surprises! Married twice, I've been divorced for 12 years and have a beautiful daughter who started college this fall.
