I grew up in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. My family consisted of five children of which I was the second born. My older sister Janie (in the photo above) died of Multiple Sclorosis in 1982 after having a family herself of three children who are now grown. My younger brother Bob now lives in Ohio with his wife and two daughters. My sister Shirley lives in Blue Bell, PA and is raising her own family of two daughters with her husband, Jeff. The youngest is my brother Jim who lives in NJ like me. I am divorced with one son, Josh.
Currently I live in Southern New Jersey and work in the City of Philadelphia at The University of the Arts where I am the Registrar. I have worked there for over fifteen years. The University of the Arts is the only university dedicated entirely to the arts and was formed in the mid 1980's from two 100 years old colleges, The Philadelphia College of Art and The Philadelphia College of Performing Arts. I have a long history with the University since I graduated from the Philadelphia College of Art with a degree in Painting in 1972. My son went there too and graduated from the School of Music.
