I'm not interested in the too far, too married, too young, too gross, only cyber chatting men! Not my purpose for signing on to a DATING site! I want to meet real live local men. I don't mind meeting a nice out of town man on vacation here to the United Statesr...that would be more like from the country I was born in...England...or the one my parents were born in...Scotland....or where I lived from age two to ten, Vancouver, Canada. Not from Africa! or Turkey...sorry, just can't relate.
At this age I'm not sure I'd ever find that elusive soulmate but I'm not settling in areas of chemistry, personality, intelligence, and I'd rather have all that in a casual relationship than "settle" for the wrong person long term...did that once.
I have lots of interests from gardening to fairs, to vintage cars, art, museums....woodworking....but dang if I've gotten one person to go to any of this. Like some night life, jazz, dancing etc. because of my song writing hobby.
I have a site for my songs and lots of information about me there, if you are interested and I will discuss that subject only, with anyone in any area.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for a man with a picture that lives about 30 minutes, no more than 60 from me, age 43ish argue me up and down from there.... because that's just who matches me! I really want someone of mutual interests or at least willing to participate in some of mine and I will in yours or explore new ones together.
Favorite films: Phantom of the Opera, Stargate, Time Machine
Favorite musicians or bands: I have favorite songs, not groups
What qualities do you look for in the people you date?: Outgoing, Intelligent, Glass half full, Glass half empty, Wild 'n Crazy, Wet 'n Wild, Quiet/shy, A bit naive, Daring, Moody, Funny and silly, Sarcastic, Realist, Cautious, depends on situation, bring what you need at the time!
Which animal best describes your personality?: butterfly
Tell us about your personal style and why it works for you. Casual and comfy? Sharp and professional?: Kind of old fashioned mixed with a subtle disco glitz. Some say when I dress up at night I look like I stepped out of a 1940's movie. I like to wear dresses. Some say I have great legs! I don't like to wear pants to dress up. Even casual I don't wear a grubby old t-shirt, but I do like to be comfortable. My professional style would still be more feminine. Since I sew a lot I have taken many things from thrift stores and updated them with new buttons etc. Girlfriends ask where I get them. Even a man's jacket (I like menswear material like houndstooth) and made it over into a very feminine outfit, skirt etc.
